WHAT DOES GOD WANT YOU TO DO IN 2018? By Anophrine D. Shirima.

If you are reading this, I have no doubt that many times you’ve celebrated one of the favorite holiday held during 01st January every year. We do have many holidays throughout the year. Most of them they are religious one. But during the first day of the first month each year, all people despite of their religion take their time to recognize something which is new in their life, ‘A New Year’

The way different people prepare themselves to show a sense of respect to the new guest differs, but at least every one; the rich and the poor, the healed and the sick, aged and young will be seen in a unique way, as an indication of appreciation to the wonderful opportunity.

However my intention is not to make funny stories about the guest of honor, I have been taught by mama that upon receiving the guest it is important to note that the guest will be around for some time, almost 52 weeks. ‘You have a lot to do as long as the guest is around’, mama added.

In summary, when we have a new year, we are advised to have what they call A PLAN! WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?

It is a good thing to have a plan for the next year. Isn’t it?

But today, as you are reading this, I want to share with you something special. I call it an extension to the PLAN.

I want to ask you to write this down, on a plane paper and read it loud, 'WHAT DOES GOD WANT ME TO DO IN 2018?', It is not about what you want to do, but what does God want you to do.

You were brought in this world to fulfill an assignment (John 4:34). It’s not my intention to write up to two pages lest not you lose the main point which I want you to grasp.

The important thing here, just ask God concerning your life in 2018, there are things that you are supposed to do. It is important if you’ll have the list from God so that you can fulfill only what you are required to do. God can hear you and he’ll answer you right back.

‘Saul was placed in a junction of life, when God confronted him on that road to Damascus, and sincerely asked, “LORD, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?” and the Lord answered him and Saul obeyed.(Acts 9:6 NKJV & Acts 22:10).’

As I’m finishing up, may you take note of the following bible verses so that you can be sure that God really answers when you ask him what to do.
'In the course of time, David inquired of the LORD. "Shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah?" he asked. The LORD said, "Go up." David asked, "Where shall I go?" "To Hebron," the LORD answered.' (2 Samuel 2:1) &1 Samuel 30:8.

'We are called for a greater purpose than just existence.'

'WHAT DOES GOD WANT YOU TO DO IN 2018?'
